PHASES OF HAIR GROWTH.Hairs grow in three phases:AnagenCatagenTelogen1. Anagen: This is the first phase of hair growth. It is an active growth phase where hair cells divide rapidly, and new hair is formed. The duration of the anagen phase varies for different body parts and individuals, lasting anywhere from two to seven years for scalp hair.2. Catagen: This is a transitional phase marking the end of active growth. It is a short phase that lasts a few weeks. During catagen, the hair follicle shrinks, and the hair detaches from the blood supply.3. Telogen: This is the resting phase where the hair is released and falls out. It lasts about three months, and after this period, the hair follicle reenters the anagen phase, and a new hair begins to grow, pushing out the old hair. Now that you know, share to educate others.#favoriteteacher #teacherscholastica #biologist #educationist #haircycle#anagencatagentelogen #scholarsbiologylab #underthemicroscope

💡Ever wondered about the stages of hair growth? Let's break it down!🟡Anagen Phase: This is the active growth phase where hair follicles produce new hair. The longer this phase lasts, the longer your hair can grow🔵Catagen Phase: A transitional phase where hair growth stops and the outer root sheath shrinks. This phase is relatively short, lasting only a few weeks.🟣Telogen Phase: Known as the resting phase, where old hair is released and new hair begins to grow underneath. This phase can last for several months.✅Understanding these stages can give insight into your hair's natural growth cycle and how to care for it best. Find everything about hair in the new book, “Grow it Back” 🌱💁♀️#HairGrowthStages #Anagen #Catagen #Telogen #HealthyHair #theradome #growitback

67% of people don't see hair growth with Minoxidil alone.💬 Reason 1:Your body needs special proteins to turn Minoxidil into its active form, Minoxidil-Sulfate (which is what actually makes hair grow, not Minoxidil itself). But nearly 2/3rds of people lack a sufficient amount of these proteins. Without them, Minoxidil can't change into Minoxidil-Sulfate, resulting in no noticeable hair growth.💬 Reason 2:Minoxidil only targets ONE of the 7 main causes of hair loss. For those who experience hair growth with Minoxidil, it solely addresses increasing blood flow around your hair follicles, which is just ONE of the 7 main causes of hair loss.Minoxidil alone may not address ALL underlying factors contributing to your hair loss. This may potentially limit its effectiveness in regrowing your hair compared to more comprehensive treatments.Don't settle for treatments that yield minimal results. If you're relying on Minoxidil to grow hair, it might be time to explore better options.P.S. We’ll be posting more on the 7 main causes of hair loss later in the week! Stay tuned✨#HairGrowth #Hair #HairTreatments #HairScience #HairLoss #HairLossTips #HairHealth
